First birthday photo sessions are always full of fun and excitement, but especially when they are for my Watch Me Grow kiddos. I have been photographing Jakob and his family since he was a teeny, tiny newbie and now he is the complete definition of toddler! 

Jakob and his family came to the studio for his newborn session when he was right around a week old. He was the BEST baby, slept the whole time and let us pose him and wrap him up about 30 different ways. It is so important to schedule your newborn session before your baby is born, so that we can make sure to get your baby in the studio while he is fresh, sleepy, and super pose-able. I love capturing these sleepy moments. How peaceful and sweet, those tiny baby toes and fingers. their little lips and noses. These moments are so fleeting.

Capturing these first few moments are just the beginning with the Watch Me Grow, Baby's first year package. Jakob and his family came back to visit me when he was 6 months old for a second photo session. He was full of smiles and just learning to sit up on his own. His cheeks got chubbier, his hair got fuzzier, and cuter by the day for sure! 

  Before I knew it, Jakob was back at the studio for his first birthday photo session. Like I said earlier, first birthday sessions are full of excitement and fun. I love seeing my Watch Me Grow kiddos toddling around, trying to take their first steps, babbling away working on their words, and their personalities really start to shine at this age.

Those blue eyes! Can you even stand the cuteness?   

Jake is always such a happy guy when I see him, full of smiles and even reaches for me to give me some snuggles! I have really loved watching him grow. I have said it so many times, that is my favorite part of this job. I love watching your kiddos grow, your families grow, and being their for all of life's special moments.
