Sometimes I have to totally pinch myself. Like, how did I get to do a job that I love AND get to be surrounded by amazing people, amazing locations, and their amazing animal friends? How is this real life? 

A few weeks ago I got to hang out with this super fun family and their horse, Taffy. Taffy was a little reluctant to have her photo taken, but hey, aren't we all a little like that? After a little persuading, she decided she would let us take some pictures. Taffy was on her home turf, Drop Stables, which happens to be a gorgeous farm with lots of pretty horses and other fun, farm animals. In addition to all of the fun animals, there were so many cool places to photograph this family that I am having a tough time deciding which ones to share first! 

The light. I can talk for hours and hours about how gorgeous and yummy the light was that evening on the farm, but I will just show you instead. I know you will get it once you see it!  

Beautiful, right? Like, I couldn't have asked for more beautiful, golden sunshine. It is something that a photographer's dreams are made of! Paired up with this location, an amazing family, and their horse, we had a recipe for perfection! 

I love that you can totally see the relationship that these girls have with their horse, Taffy. I can't think of anything more special.

This family photo session was seriously pure magic! All of the pieces fell perfectly into place and we were able to create some really beautiful memories. 

Like I said, I don't know how I got to be so lucky but I know that I will forever be grateful to have this job. I love creating memories with all of your families and getting to be a part of your lives as they change and grow. I can't imagine doing anything else!
